St. Francis de Sales (John K. Ryan, trans.) - Treatise on the Love of God, Volumes I and II (TAN, 1975). 314 + 356 pages. New scan. Searchable pdf (clearscan) with contents in bookmarks, accurate pagination and metadata, etc. This book was one of the first scans I ever did, and lacks the polish of my more recent scans. Even so it's generally good quality and is certainly quite readable. description: This classic of Catholic mysticism has only been translated into modern English once, but inexplicably that modern translation has now been out of print for many years. Current editions use older, archaic translations. John K. Ryan was the translator of that modern version, and his version is the one included in this torrent. Ryan also translated the same author's Introduction to the Devout Life, available here: http://thepiratebay.ee/torrent/8622204

LOL -- so very true. These two actually weren't so bad, though. They were reprints of the original 1963 Image paperbacks, and looked and felt exactly like old Image books.
